Announcing our 2022 Show!
HCST's 46th Anniversary
The Story:
The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. (from MTI) |

Howard County Summer Theatre staged a fun-filled production of The Pajama Game. We would like to thank everyone who worked on this show in any capacity, from the designers, to the tech crew, to the performers, to the orchestra, to the directors, for all their tireless hours that contributed to the success of the show.
As a result of this team effort and the supportive audience that came to enjoy the show, HCST was able to donate $1,500 to Prepare for Success, which provides school supplies to needy Howard County students, and $1,000 to Casey Cares, which provides pajamas and programs to families with critically ill children.
Lastly, thank you to the audiences that attended HCST's production, enabling the theatre company to donate money to support these worthwhile causes.
